Sally Beaumont grew up in the Home Counties in the UK, and has been a voice over artist for five years, working with companies such as Unilever, Calor Gas, The Department of Health and of course AudioSteps!
Her background is as a professional actress and she has appeared on TV several times in the UK- she's also a playwright, specialising in comedy. Sally has a passion for learning, and loves to learn about the lives of people in the past. Her favourite period of history is the 17th century, particularly theatres and performance of that time- she spent a year of her BA Drama ( from The University of Exeter) studying just that, and loves to hold forth about Shakespeare, Marlowe and Johnson, and the vibrant theatre of London. She also likes to learn and educate others about the two World Wars, particularly the first: the Great War, and recently wrote, produced and starred in a radio play on that subject. In the past she's worked as a drama trainer, and even trained big burly police officers to deal with difficult situations.
Sally loves to talk, so is probably in the right job, but also enjoys walking, seeing films, vegetarian cuisine and laughing. Check out her website: www.sallybeaumont.com
